Shrub End Co-op – Entrance System Upgrade

Elite Entrance Systems was appointed to upgrade the entrance system at the East of England Co-op store in Shrub End, Colchester. The project involved installing a new automatic sliding door operator and associated entrance components to improve reliability, accessibility and day-to-day functionality for customers entering the store.

The East of England Co-op operates a network of community-focused food stores across the region, serving local neighbourhoods with everyday essentials and services. Ensuring safe, reliable access for customers is therefore an important part of maintaining a welcoming retail environment.

The works included the installation of a new STA20 automatic sliding door operator with full safety and activation systems, alongside the fitting of a new aluminium frame and door assembly. A new roller shutter finished in RAL 7043 was also installed as part of the entrance upgrade.
