Quadram Institute – Entrance Upgrade
As part of an entrance upgrade at the Quadram Institute, Elite Entrance Systems was appointed to replace an existing revolving door arrangement and install a new automated entrance solution to improve accessibility and pedestrian flow.
The Quadram Institute is an internationally recognised research centre focused on food science, microbiology and human health. The entrance upgrade formed part of ongoing improvements to the building’s access infrastructure.
The project involved the removal of the existing revolving door and disabled pass door, followed by the installation of a new aluminium framework and lobby box. Elite Entrance Systems then supplied and installed two STA20 automatic sliding door systems to create a modern, reliable and accessible entrance.
Scope of works
- Removal of existing revolving door and disabled pass door
- Installation of aluminium framework and lobby box
- Supply and installation of 2 × STA20 automatic sliding door systems
- Testing and commissioning of the new entrance system
Outcome
The completed installation provides a modern automated entrance that improves accessibility and supports the daily movement of staff, researchers and visitors entering the building.
Elite Entrance Systems regularly delivers entrance system installations across research facilities, healthcare environments and commercial buildings, supporting projects where reliability, accessibility and safety are essential.
