Greenpeace – Accessible Entrance Installation
Elite Entrance Systems was appointed to install a new automated swing door entrance system for a Greenpeace facility, providing improved accessibility and reliable day-to-day operation for staff and visitors.
Greenpeace is an internationally recognised environmental organisation, operating offices and facilities that support research, campaigning and environmental advocacy. The entrance installation was designed to provide safe, compliant and wheelchair-accessible entry while maintaining a clean and durable architectural finish.
The project included the installation of a Comar aluminium frame incorporating a DFA127 automatic swing door unit. The system was supplied with full activation and safety equipment to comply with EN16005 standards for power-operated pedestrian doors. The door assembly was constructed using solid infill panels with pressings, alongside an opaque vision panel to maintain privacy while still allowing visibility through the door.
